  14. 00.   The Temple being in darkness, and the Speaker ascended into
  15.    his place, let him begin by a ritual of the Enterer, as
  16.    followeth.
  17. 01.   Procul, O procul este profani.

  19. 03.   In the name of the Mighty and Terrible One, I proclaim that
  20.    I have banished the Shells unto their habitations.
  21. 04.   I invoke Tahuti, the Lord of Wisdom and of Utterance, the
  22.    God that cometh forth from the veil.
  23. 05.   O Thou! Majesty of Godhead!  Wisdom-crowned Tahuti!  Lord
  24.    of the Gates of the Universe!  Thee, Thee, I invoke.
  25.       O Thou of the Ibis Head!  Thee, Thee I invoke.
  26.       Thou who wieldest the Wand of Double Power!  Thee, Thee I

  28.       Thou who bearest in Thy left hand the Rose and Cross of
  29.    Light and Life:  Thee, Thee, I invoke.
  30.       Thou whose head is as an emerald, and Thy nemmes of the
  31.    night-sky blue!  Thee, Thee I invoke.
  32.       Thou, whose skin is of flaming orange as though it burned
  33.    in a furnace!  Thee, Thee I invoke.
  34. 06.   Behold!  I am Yesterday, To-Day, and Brother of To-morrow!
  35.       I am born again and again.
  36.       Mine is the Unseen Force, whereof the Gods are sprung!
  37.    Which is as Life unto the Dwellers in the Watch-Towers of the
  38.    Universe.
  39.       I am the Charioteer of the East, Lord of the Past and of
  40.    the Future.
  41.       I see by mine own inward light: Lord of Ressurection;
  42.       Who cometh forth from the Dusk, and my birth is from the
  43.    House of Death.
  44. 07.   O ye Divine Hawks upon your Pinnacles!
  45.       Who keep watch over the Universe!
  46.       Ye who company the Bier to the House of Rest!
  47.       Who pilot the Ship of Ra advancing onwards to the heights of
  48.    heaven!
  49.       Lord of the Shrine which standeth in the Centre of the
  50.    Earth!
  51. 08.   Behold, He is in me, and I in Him!
  52.       Mine is the Radiance, wherein Ptah floateth over the
  53.    firmament!
  54.       I travel upon high!
  55.       I tread upon the firmament of Nu!
  56.       I raise a flashing flame, with the lightning of Mine Eye!
  57.       Ever rushing on, in the splendour of the daily glorified Ra:
  58.    giving my life to the Dwellers of Earth!
  59. 09.   If I say "Come up upon the mountains!"  the Celestial Waters
  60.    shall flow at my Word.
  61.       For I am Ra incarnate!
  62.       Kephra created in the Flesh!
  63.       I am the Eidolon of my father Tmu, Lord of the City of the
  64.    Sun!
  65. 10.   The God who commands is in my mouth!
  66.       The God of Wisdom is in my Heart!
  67.       My tongue is the Sanctuary of Truth!
  68.       And a God sitteth upon my lips.
  69. 11.   My Word is accomplished everyday!
  70.       And the desire of my heart realises itself, as that of Ptah
  71.    when He createth his works!
  72.       I am Eternal; therefore all things are as my designs;
  73.    therefore do all things obey my Word.
  74. 12.   Therefore do Thou come forth unto me from Thine abode in the
  75.    Silence: Unutterable Wisdom!  All-Light!  All-Power!
  76.       Thoth!  Hermes!  Mercury!  Odin!
  77.       By whatever name I call Thee, Thou art still nameless to
  78.    Eternity: Come Thou forth, I say, and aid and guard me in this
  79.    work of Art.
  80. 13.   Thou, Star of the East, that didst conduct the Magi!
  81.       Thou art The Same all-present in Heaven and in Hell!
  82.       Thou that vibratest between the Light and the Darkness!
  83.       Rising, descending!  Changing ever, yet ever The Same!
  84.       The Sun is Thy Father!
  85.       Thy Mother the Moon!
  86.       The Wind hath borne Thee in its bosom; and Earth hath ever
  87.    nourished the changeless Godhead of Thy Youth!
  88. 14.   Come Thou forth, I say, come Thou forth!
  89.       And make all Spirits subject unto Me:
  90.       So that every Spirit of the Firmament
  91.       And of the Ether,
  92.       Upon the Earth,
  93.       And under the Earth,
  94.       On dry land
  95.       And in the Water,
  96.       Of whirling Air
  97.       And of rushing Fire,
  98.       And every Spell and Scourge of God the Vast One, may be
  99.    obedient unto Me!
  100. 15.   I invoke the Priestess of the Silver Star, Asi the Curved
  101.    One, by the ritual of Silence.
  102. 16.   I make open the gate of Bliss; I descend from the Palace of
  103.    the Stars; I greet you, I embrace you, O children of earth,
  104.    that are gathered together in the Hall of Darkness.

  115.       The Becoming Visible of Matter.
  116.       The Piercing of the Scales of the Crocodile.

  120.    be broken; let it return into the silence of light.
